Thanksgiving is almost here and most of us are either hosting it at our homes or having to help with others so we will be pretty busy! It is important to have the toddlers busy so they are not making the process anymore difficult or time consuming! One win win situation is to set them up with some arts and crafts that are not only fun but festive! We know how much they like to contribute so I have a few links to some sites that provide free and fun crafts that follow the season! Now bare in mind not all of them can be done without your help, but they may be a fun family activity for everyone to join in on and spend some time together during those hectic pre-holiday days! Another great site is enchanted learning, Now this site is used for ideas for children that are homeschooled so that means it has craft ideas for all ages! The site itself cost money to be subscribed to however the crafts on the link i have up can be accessed for free! These have some of my favorite crafts. What better way to teach/remind your children the meaning of Thanksgiving than a Thankful Leaf Wreath! The magical leaf image is a fun one and of course the classic pine cone turkey! If you still haven't found something you like try making friends This is another site that can cost money if you aren't watching what you click on but the crafts are free! This one has free printable coloring pages that should keep the kids busy as well as the fan turkey tail (i will be trying with my little one) and who can live without the adorable foamie pilgrim hat! not only will that be fun to make but fun for your little pilgrim to wear to Thanksgiving!
